Why is Online Evaluation Important before a Hair-Transplant in Turkey

before a Hair-Transplant in Turkey

As Global Medical Care, our priority has always been the satisfaction of our patients of Hair-Transplant . We are always delighted to listen to our patients of Hair-Transplant and assist them in scheduling their treatments, whether they are near to home or over the world. If you want to schedule a Hair-Transplant, one of the first things we’ll want you to do is send us some images of your head. We know it is always intimidating to take the first step forward to undergoing a Hair Transplant to get the physical appearance you have been wanting to get. But we have made it easy for you with this article. Here is a complete break-down:

What is the first step?

Because we have a global reach, seeing recent photographs of your head is the quickest and easiest approach to build a treatment plan. The Norwood Scale shows that the degree and severity of hair loss vary from patient to patient, therefore images are a useful beginning point for examining your unique condition. Before you fly, your doctor and a medical consultant will be able to determine the number of grafts you require and how strong your donor area is.

This examination process is an important initial step in your treatment path, whether you choose a DHI hair transplant or an FUE hair transplant.

We and your physicians will be able to examine your present hair loss and get you started on our end-to-end, complimentary service with pictures from both sides of your head.

What kind of pictures should you send?

You’ll find a quick and easy approach to sending us images that will help us get your hair transplant adventure started below. Take one close-up photograph of:

  • The front of your head
  • The top of your head (vertex area)
  • The back of the head, between the two ears (donor area)

Pictures will only be used for medical purposes, such as diagnosing your hair loss circumstances and determining the best therapy for you.

Is Hair Transplant Right for you? What kind of hair-transplant should you get?

One of the main reasons why an online evaluation is significant is the fact that not every hair transplant is the same. Depending on the patient’s needs, the preferred treatment approach may change. Hair transplants are not suitable for everyone. They are mostly used to restore hair if you are naturally balding or thinning, or if you have lost hair due to an injury. Because most transplants are done using your current hair, they are ineffective for treating patients who have extensive thinning or baldness. If the patient has limited hair on the donor area, typically a half transplant or a hairline transplant may also be advised.

That’s why we’ll always inquire about your underlying cause of wanting hair transplantation, your hair type, and your desired outcomes i.e. expectations. For female patients, this step is of utmost importance because the underlying cause of their hair loss can oftentimes be a vitamin deficiency. But don’t worry, during your initial consultation our physician will ask to see some blood and hormone tests, so we can determine if a female hair transplant is the best option for you.

Whether you have afro hair, straight hair, or alopecia areata (hair loss in patches); our doctors are with you every step of the way to figure out the best treatment plan for your specific needs.

How do you find the right doctor?

This is a common question posed by prospective patients regarding hair transplants. Global Medical Care has analyzed over 200 hospitals to determine which one is ideal for your specific situation. As a result, during the first online evaluation process, we can give you an effective option of highly skilled hair transplant doctors who are experienced in your individual situation. All the doctors we recommend have been extensively researched, with an emphasis on both quality and price. Dr. Yilmaz, for example, is a well-known doctor.  He has approximately 12500 treatments under his belt.

How do you schedule an appointment?

When you decide to proceed with your hair-transplant, we’ll see if your desired doctor has an appointment available on your specified day. Our team can also assist you in meeting with your doctor without leaving the house. Our doctor video consultations are absolutely free and open to everyone who wants to arrange a treatment. After your doctor has confirmed your therapy, you may book your flights. We’ll send your flight information to the clinic and book your lodging. Remember, your medical consultant is always available by phone if you require anything while you’re there.

Information about your treatment

Hair transplant is a common surgery suggested to alopecia or male pattern hair loss (androgenetic/androgenic hair loss) patients. During the hair restoration procedure, your surgeon will give you a local anesthetic to numb the region of your head where your treatment team will be working. The operation will take between 4 and 8 hours, depending on the extent of the region being treated. There are other hair transplant procedures available, but the FUE technique is the most prevalent, inventive, and popular. Unlike the alternative procedure, Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT), involves removing a strip of the scalp where follicles are abundant to harvest. However, FUE’s extraction method is less surgical, FUE removes each unit of the follicle (graft i.e. hairs) one at a time. This is a more time-consuming procedure, but it leaves less scarring on the area of your head where the hair follicles were taken. FUE recovery times are also much quicker than FUT hair transplants. Unlike FUT, FUE is a nonscarring operation.

When can you return to your day-to-day routine?

You can begin mild to normal activities two days following your hair-transplant and return to work and your usual life three days later. The edema has usually reduced at this stage, but there is usually still noticeable redness at the recipient sites, which usually diminishes 10–14 days following the procedure. Your doctors will give you anti-edema medicine, so this process flows easily. We’ll contact you a few days following the therapy to see how you’re doing. Afterward, we’ll always keep in touch with you to observe your hair growth process and to answer any and all questions you may have. You can resume activity, including swimming and bathing, one month after your hair transplant. Soft hats can be worn 10 days following treatment, but hard hats such as helmets should not be worn for at least a month.
